AdSense - URL Channels Vs. Custom Channel
AdSense channels, I can’t emphasize how important they are. In web marketing analyzing your actions and results is very important.
AdSense channels can help you do just that. By using channel in right way you can found which AdSense units are profitable and which ones are less.
After all it’s all about making money and more information you have the more money you can make.
In previous post I have covered what are AdSense channels ? In this one we will distinguished between two types of channels: URL channels and custom channels.
AdSense - URL Channels :
Usage:
Google AdSense only allow us to you use one AdSense account. We are not allowed to open multiple accounts one for each of our websites.
The problem begin when we want to analyze the revenues from each website separately.
That’s where URL channels come in to help us, we can set a URL channel for each of our websites. In that way we can see in the AdSense revenues reports the income for each channel separately.
How to add them ?

Remember: URL channel do not need to be inserted in the AdSense code for each unit.
AdSense Custom Channels:
Usage:
Similar to concept of URL channels, the purpose of custom channels is to give more information from where our revenues came. But sometimes we want to analyze each type of AdSense units in the same website, we want to see from which unit we got the most.
That is where custom channel can help us.
How to add them ?

Remember: Custom channels need to inserted in the AdSense code for each unit.
