AdSense Manager For Wordpress

Posted by Motti 7 September, 2007

There are  a lot of useful plug-ins that can help you inject the AdSense code into you Wordpress blog.

I have covered few of them here like AdSense Injection and  AdSense Deluxe

While searching the Internet I have found a another very good plugin that make it even easier to use AdSense with Wordpress.

The plug in name "AdSense Manager" and the newest version for now is 2.5.

This plug-in had a lot of problems with Google TOS and his author was even got banned for while from the AdSense program, but this is all in the past.

The new version was build according to Google terms and it’s safe to use.

So, what is the big news about this one specific ?

Here are some features:

  • Support Referral Ads (Text & Image).
  • Allowing Direct Code Ads  - for non AdSense ad positioning.
  • Code Converter - import Google generated Ads to configurable Ad units
  • Sidebar Modules - as used in the popular K2 theme
  • Updated to work with new Wordpress 2.2 Widgets

This unique tasks could not be done through a Wordpress plug-in until now and was needed to a manual code modifications.

You can set all ads properties in one single page:

Adsense_manager_create-edit

Edit the default ad unit:

AdSense_Manager_default-ad

and even list all your ads with their properties in one place so you edit them easily:

AdSense_Manager_manage-ads

To start just Download AdSense Manager from Wordpress plug in page.

You can find a very good instruction manual on the author website, check the Code Convertor and see why this one is more superior then others.
