Google AdSense For RSS Feeds Inside Wordpress

If you have a successful, blog you probably have some visitors that you read you posts through a rss reader. Those visitors will not see the AdSense ads that appear on you blog, and you are probably loosing a chance for few more clicks.

For wordpress blogs the solution is simple you can simply install a plugin that will add AdSense ads in your RSS feed, so that visitors that read you blog through a rss reader will see AdSense ads too.

The wordpress plugin for this is called “Google AdSense for Feeds”  and  it will allow you to add AdSense ads in your RSS feed.

This plugin has no control panel or front panel to fill the setting, you need to do the old way and edit the plugin file.

Here is how do you do it:

  • First download the plugin from wordpress.org
  • Then, in you blog admin panel go to Plugin Editor located inside the plugin tab and choose the “Google AdSense for Feed” from the list in the right.
  • Edit the line below with you publisher id
  • $publisher = 'ca-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx';
  • Press the UPDATE FILE to save the changes.

That it you are finished, now all your RSS feeds will includes AdSense ads  inside them.

You can test and see it for yourself by subscribing to your own feed, just remember not to click you own ads.
