10 Things To Do When Start Using Google AdSense

This post is meant to our newbie AdSense users, but personally I think some experienced AdSense users can learn one or two things from it.
We all know the basics: how to sign up to Google AdSense and how to build an ad. here are 10 things that may seem obvious to some of us but many newbie users tend to forget them when they start with AdSense. So let’s begin, 10 things that you must do when you start using Google AdSense:
- Always use channels when you add you AdSense code to your site.
- Use both URL channels and channels to track where you most of your revenue come.
- Fill the filter list with banned URLs in order to remove low paying AdSense ads from your website.
- Analyze the reports every few weeks and try to improve you CTR.
- Understand the Google terminology like CTR, CPM and etc.
- Test the best colors and AdSense block size that is most suitable to your website.
- Learn your self not to click AdSense ads, you may click your own ads and your account could get banned.
- Follow the changes that Google change in the AdSense program.
- Get traffic to your site, after all it’s all about traffic.
- Don’t put AdSense unless you already have enough traffic !
