Google wants to make sure that address details that you filled in your AdSense account are correct.

To make it sure Google is sending by regular mail  to every publisher that earn his first 10$ in the AdSense program a PIN number.

When you are getting this PIN number you will need to fill it in your account. You will 6 months to do it, after that Google will close you account.

All payments will be on hold until you filled the PIN number inside the Google control panel.

Be sure you got this envelope from Google, is a medium size, square, with the Google brand name printed on it.

If you didn’t got the envelope you can request and PIN number from Google by following this 4 steps:

  • Log in to your AdSense account and go My Account tab
  • Continue to the Payment History page
  • Click the Please enter your PIN link
  • Click Request a new PIN

Google has been aware that many publishers are loosing this envelope, and sometimes they are not even aware that a PIN number even exist.

For that publishers they put a video on theirs official AdSense blog not much informative but funny.
