AdSense - Term Per Week
Click Fraud
Click Fraud is a scam that involve displaying AdSense ads on a website , and using various scripts or software to automate the clicking on the ads.
Those methods will increase the number of clicks on the ad, and therefor the revenue from those ads.
Google has a very strict policy about click fraud and the developer team from Google AdSense develop new ways to track those methods.
The tracking can done by IP address, cookies and many others way Google is not reveling to general public.
An advertiser that is caught using a click fraud method is banned from the Google AdSense program without even a warning.
It’s maybe tempting to use methods like those but eventually Google will track you and will banned from the program for ever.

Clickthrough Rate - CTR
CTR is the initials of Click Through Rate is a well know terms in all online advertising programs.
CTR in measured by percents (%) and it’s calculated by dividing the number of click your ad has been received by the number of times the add unit has been shown (the number of time an ad unit has been shown is also the number of impressions)
The CTR value appears in all Google AdSense reports.
High CTR means your ad unit is placed and design correctly.
If you are getting a low CTR you can look at two posts I wrote about improving your click thorough rate.
One post talks about the influence of a good design of an AdSense unit on the CTR and the other about a great tip that will defiantly help you, just read them.
Remember that you will need high traffic in order that that CTR will reflect the true results .
